Child Lane provides Early Care and Education, Nutrition, and Family Support Services to the Long Beach and Harbor communities. Founded in 1984, Child Lane has grown from serving a handful of children to serving nearly 6,000 children a day through our Early Care and Education Program and Nutrition Program. We understand a healthy and stable home and community provides the best environment for children, and it is our mission to provide care in an environment where play is valued and children are supported to be their full potential.
We serve children from four months to thirteen years old through early care and education programs and family child care homes within the Long Beach, Wilmington, San Pedro, and Gardena communities.
We partner with close to 500 licensed family child care providers to ensure children are given healthy and fresh USDA approved meals throughout the Greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
We support parents by offering professional assistance, enhanced referrals to community services, confidential guidance, and parenting education.
